Pacific Wild

Pacific Wild is a non-profit conservation organization that is working and committed to defending wildlife and their habitat on Canada’s Pacific coast.

With valuable media attention from both TV and radio already scheduled and on going delays with there original web developer, Pacific Wild turned to InControl Solutions to put the project back on track.

Leveraging the efforts already made, InControl Solutions was able to complete the site's design and launch the site within 2 weeks. 

With an exceptionally tight time frame to get the site live, InControl Solutions worked with Pacific Wild team member Andrew Wright to get all the content and outstanding photography into the new site. Using WebmasterCMS, and with just 2 hours training, Andrew was able to get almost 80% of the sites content posted in just a single day.

The site features tight integration with YouTube for video content. Videos posted to the Pacific Wild Live YouTube account automatically display on the Pacificwild.org home page along with ranking, view count and other information pulled from YouTube's Servers. This allows Pacific Wild to offload the high bandwidth (cost) associated with video while also leveraging the social networking and community building opportunities on YouTube.

When we were left hanging at the 11th hour by our existing technology partner, Incontrol Solutions stepped up to the plate and took us live in under two weeks with an image and technology intensive site from no more than site jpeg mock ups.  Their expertise combined with a Can Do attitude eclipsed the glowing reference that had been provided by Randy Burke of Bluewater Adventures.  Our new site is visually stunning and exceeds all our user functionality requirements. We are very excited about moving to the next level with InControl’s amazing team.
