River Search

The River Search organization is a group of rafting outfitters around the world that wish to promote white water rafting, and support fellow outfitters committed to safety and user experience.  Bernie Fandrich, River Search director, selected InControl Solutions and the WebmasterCMS based on its proven track record for SEO, compelling visual design and intuitive navigation and site structure.

The site's primary goal is to capture website search traffic and funnel that traffic down to the member outfitter sites.  The system is based on a custom module for storing river names, geographical location and the outfitters that run them.  Each outfitter can be linked to multiple rivers, and each river can have multiple outfitters.

The site utilizes modern website features such as automatic search suggestions as the user types in the main search box as well as detailed tracking of click through to member sites.

The site was launched in February of 2007 and is already achieving top 5 placement on Google for our first targeted search phrase "Whitewater Rafting Vacations".
