WebmasterCMS is a content management system that allows site owners to maintain their sites with the confidence that their changes and updates will be in keeping with their established design and layout.

WebmasterCMS, developed by InControl Solutions, is a web-based application that enables non-technical users to update, maintain, and create new content for their websites using a simple and intuitive interface. A website is ever evolving and adding new content or making minor changes shouldn't necessitate hiring a web design firm for every update. WebmasterCMS combines ease of use with design flexibility providing a powerful tool that enables users to create and maintain websites exactly suited to their needs.

WebmasterCMS separates content (text, images, flash, video, PDF, etc.) from site design using a comprehensive database for storage of content and interchangeable design templates. Using any current web browser, content is input through the WebmasterCMS interface from a password-protected admin area of the site. Users can create new sections, pages and sub-pages, and upload images, flash, video or just about any file type. All of the information uploaded or input through the admin interface is stored in the database for easy retrieval later on.

Templates are used for the website's visual design. Many CMS systems constrain design to fit their structure. The creators of WebmasterCMS understand that the CMS must instead be adaptable enough to fit any design. We continually challenge our system to go beyond the preconceived ideas of what a CMS is capable of doing. The more that designers challenge the capabilities of our CMS, the more flexible Webmaster will become.

Because content and design are created separately, large-scale changes may be made without a lot of re-coding. Content may be swapped out or a completely new design template may be created and uploaded. This is how it works: when a visitor requests a page, WebmasterCMS analyzes the URL, looks up the content in the database, merges the template with the content, builds all the menus and navigation, and delivers the final page to the visitor. All this takes a fraction of a second.
